Our Mission

The Stars n Steeds is no ordinary equestrian club. The mission of the team is to provide quality entertainment for a variety of audiences, while teaching and fostering high moral values. The Stars 'N' Steeds Drill Team is made of three teams, the Youth Team (6-19), The Novice Team (all ages), and the Rodeo Team (all ages). They must be responsible for the care and upkeep of their own horse, and be committed to living a life that is exemplary in every way.

Each rider signs a statement that states they will abstain from drugs, alcohol, and tobacco.   They also agree and commit to doing their best in school and being role models for other young people.

Avalibility to perform at your events

The Stars 'N' Steeds are able to perform for everyone. We have performed for schools, churches, rodeos, several equine events and prades. Our Team is special in the sence that we can perform anywhere, all we require is a flat piece of land (not on concrete) that is 100'x200'. We do not have to have fences. We also have our own sound system. We can give seminars! Our Team is very well educated and we have given horsemanship classes and assemblys for schools on Drugs and alcohol and team sportsmanship.

Team Tryouts

The Stars 'N' Steeds have Team tryouts once a year. The Youth Team (ages6-19), the Novice Team and Rodeo Team (both all ages). Our members are required to have good horsemanship, high morals, must have own horse, transportation and be commited to the team. For more information contact LouAnn Biggers.

Horse requirements

The Stars 'N' Steeds Horses are stock type horses. We have seveal differnt breeds: Paints, Quarters, Arabians, ect. Gaited horses wont work simply because they move differntly. Your horse must be at least 14 hands tall, In good condition (we gallop the entire time), No kickers or biters, must be able to take leads and not worried bout crouding. We do carry flags in most of our drills so we would like for them to be flag broke. LouAnn biggers gives riding lessons so we can help with teaching most of these things. Again you can contact her.
